Dear Ed,
Here is a short article about MSM eyedrops. For more information on mineral supplements, I suggest you go to the Library on the MD Support web site, linked below. Also scroll down to Barry Frank's post where he talks about these drops.
Best regards,

MSM Eye Drops provide the cellular nutrition necessary to make the cornea and outer tissues in the eye soft and permeable.
MSM Eye Drops soften the membranes, allowing fluids to pass through the optical tissues. When optical membranes become permeable, nutrition is able to penetrate through the optical tissues and provide the nutrients needed for the body to heal itself. MSM softens tough-leathery tissue, equalizes pressures, repairs damaged membranes, clears up red spots and broken vessels, helps remove floaters and other eye particles. Some contact lens users have reported that the drops are better than saline solution because MSM Eye Drops provide soothing, lasting relief with no burning or stinging. Some health care practitioners are using MSM Eye Drops and their patients are seeing results.
Your eye is like a water balloon. The optical tissue normally allows fluids to flow through the membrane wall, which acts like a filter, supplying nutrition and cleaning out particles, keeping your eye clear so your vision is good. When these membranes become tough like leather, the fluids are trapped, and the particles start to build up. If the build up continues, it will seem as if your looking through a frosted glass. This is called cataracts. Cataracts can cause a pressure drop across the membrane. This results in pressure inside of the eye and causes the eye to inflate, which is referred to as Glaucoma. When the MSM eye drops are applied, the membrane becomes permeable and in some reported cases helps assist the body repair this problem, stabilizing the pressures. The eye should also be flexible so the muscles can change the contour in order to focus. When the eye membranes and muscles become tough the eye cannot focus properly and vision becomes blurred.

I have been using MSM eye drops for 2 month. My eye pressure dropped from 37 to 28, but I am also feeling a lot of eye tiredness, pressure on top and around the eyes, irritation and even some vision deterioration. Is that normal? Is this something previous to starting feeling a real healing?.

I have had cataract surgery on 1.28.2004 and developed cornea edema and descemets folds. Now the doctor says I need a cornea transplant. After finding this out I found MSM eye drops and have been using them since 5.10.2004 I have noticed an improvement however the doctor still wants me to get a transplant. Should I continue the drops and will they help my situation. He also wants to do the transplant before the other eye cataract surgery.
